The old town square is also called Staromestske Namesti situated central square of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The old town square is the top-most attraction of tourists. You can not miss it if you are coming to Prague or planning so. I had the most fantastic experience with it.
Attractions of Old Town Square are below.
Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square
This astronomical clock is the jewel of Prague. This Clock is the oldest astronomical in the world still is in use. This is the must-see destination in Prague.
The Astronomical Clock was decorated with the best-experienced artists in the 15th century. This clock is not only telling the time and date of central Europe, Sideral and Babylonian but also has many functions. It also tracks the Sun and Moon in the sky and shows different astronomical details.
What Legends Say about Astronomical Clock History
According to the study this clock was built in 1410 by clock master Hanuš. As legends say the city councillors were worried about the thought of Hanuš, maybe he could make another similar clock for another city, so they had blinded him to maintain the uniqueness of Astronomical Clock. Hanuš didn’t like the action of councillors and broke the mechanism of the clock in revenge. And it took almost over 100 years to make it work again.
Even though it doesn’t matter what legends say about the history in front of the unquestionable beauty of the Astronomical Clock. Every hour the Astronomical Clock goes into action by moving and shaking bells a day from 9 am to 11 pm (time depends on the season).
You can go up the Astronomical Clock tower (for this you will have to buy a ticket to enter the tower) by elevator or enjoy the stairs and reward yourself with a great view of the city & Astronomical Clock’s mechanism.
I describe the clock as much I can but can not express in the words it’s all charm and beauty. You must experience the real spectacular of the Astronomical Clock to get a real grasp of history.
Historical buildings Around the Old Town Square
This town square is surrounded by magnificent Medieval buildings. Most of the buildings were built in the 18th century, but they are still amazing with their rich decoration and architecture. One of them is Kinsky Palace is the largest building and serves as a state-owned art gallery and cultural institution nowadays. You can find it the most extensive art collection in Central Europe.
In the centre of the old square, there is Jan Hus Memorial; he was a Church reformer in Czech executed in 1914. Jan Hus is proudly looking towards the Church of Our Lady before Tyn in Statue.
The House of Stone Bell is situated next to Kinsky Palace. It was the temporary residence for royal families and was built in the 14th century. This building was initially Gothic, but later on, reconstruction changed the appearance of its exterior. A bell is embedded into a corner of the outside of the building.
Christmas and Easter Market
You can find Christmas and Easter markets at multiple locations in Prague. The market located in Old Town Square attracts most visitors. There are no specific dates decided for this market because it depends on Easter.
You will see market stocked with handcrafted local jewellery, embroidered lace, wooden toys, aromatic candles, puppets, wooden dolls in traditional costume and many more cultural symbols. The main attraction of Easter eggs, made of wood and painted in vibrant colours.
You can enjoy the local food and drinks, much of the food cooked or make in front of you. Don’t you think shopping is much more helpful to have a beer or a cup of hot chocolate?
If you are parents, then your kids are going to enjoy music and dance. From around the world, children come to Old Town Square to perform on the stage in the late afternoons. There are many chances for your kids to show their creativity by making ribbons flowers, Easter eggs, painting Easter or join the workshops for the same.
I found this market is more than shopping. I learned about the Czech Tradition and culture.

Do you know, It’s quite easy to get luscious lips at home, but it needs some dedication. And who doesn’t want luscious lips? You should not need to get a cosmetic treatment just for fuller lips. We pay attention to our lips by using lipsticks, lip balms and lip gloss, but at a certain point, it’s not enough to get lovely lips.
Why do you want luscious lips?
The media stars like Angelina Jollie, Priyanka Chopra, Julia Roberts and Scarlett Johansson as being some of the sexiest women and the typical quality is fuller lips and equated as an attractive look. Luscious lips meaning is something you find attractive all the time, and it helps to boost the confidence and complete your overall flawless beauty. So why not to enhance them.
How to Get Luscious Lips at Home
For most of the women believe to go with natural lip enhances so for them, there are many ways to get luscious lips naturally without going any needle treatment.
1. Exfoliate Lips
Exfoliating is the best to get rid of dead skin cells of your lips and help to fuller your lips.
Exfoliate with Brush:- You can adopt this while brushing your teeth in the morning. Use a super soft-bristled brush instead of your regular toothbrush because lips skin is susceptible. Dunk your toothbrush into water and buff your lips in a circular motion for a minute.
Homemade Lip Scrubs:- Homemade scrub will make your lips smooth & soft and fuller. Some are the very easy and effective lip scrubs are following.
Sugar Honey Lip Scrub:- Add a tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon of sugar and few drops of olive oil, or you can add petroleum jelly instead of olive oil.
Coconut Lip Scrub:- Mix one tablespoon of sugar, half tablespoon of coconut oil and half spoon of lemon juice.
Grapefruit Lip Scrub:- Mix one tablespoon of sugar, half tablespoon of grapefruit oil and half spoon of rose water.
Rub onto lips and exfoliate dry. Use it on alternates days. You can also store the scrub in your refrigerator.
2. Moisture your Lips
The skin on the lips is much thinner and delicate and also lack sebaceous glands, so that’s why lips are not able to moisture itself. So moisturize your lips whenever you feel dry lips and do not forget before going bed. Choose a good lip moisturizer for your luscious red lips is also a difficult task, so it’s better to go for Vitamin enriched lip balms every time. Here are some of my favourite lip balms.
By Container:- Plumper your lips are perfect, especially if you want to make your lips look a lot bigger. So get a container around the house if you’re going to plump your lips and this is a fantastic step, place this around your lips and then create a vacuum suction with lips and it is basically kind of supports the cup on your mouth and hold this for 10 seconds and then repeat for two-three times. You could get crazy with this, and you can plump your lips.
By Teabag:- Take a tea bag and put that into hot water and steep. Remove the teabag and it cool. Place it on your lips for about 3-4 minutes and see the result. It works!!
4. Makeup for Enlarging the Lips
Always choose lipsticks according to yourskin undertone.Somehow makeup can manage to create luscious lips for some time till the makeup is on. But still, this is a point to get luscious lips. Below are some tricks you can consider while wearing makeup.
Lips Outline:- When applying the lip liner, then go slightly outside of your natural lip lines. Do not go overboard. Otherwise, it’ll look over. Use same shade lipstick and lip liner. Prep skin first with a perfect toned foundation or concealer whatever you are comfortable with. And yes, use lip balm before applying lipstick.
Use Highlighter:- Gone are the days when we use highlighter just for the cheeks and nose. The trend is now different, yes you can use the highlighter to bring volume to the lip area. Simply apply a touch of pale or pearly highlighter to the cupid bow of your lips, and this makes your lip more defined and applies a dot of highlighter to the center of your bottom lip, giving it a slightly fuller look.
Luscious Lipsticks:- Choosing the right colour is key to the luscious lipsticks, full lips. When it comes to lipstick colours, I must say I never liked the super dark colours because dark colours make lips smaller, if your lips are naturally thin. Go for shades of nude, mauve and all shades of pink lipstick.
Luscious Lip gloss:- Most of the women do not like the glossy look. If you do not like all over gloss finish, then you can use the gloss at the center of your lips to give the illusion to get the fullest lips to the most prominent area of lips. Stick with tones of pink and red.
Having a healthy diet can lead to plump and pink lips. Drink plenty of water throughout the day diet should be rich in vitamin A, B and C and fresh fruits. Eat salads in the summer and drink soups in winter.
So, with this routine, you can achieve that perfect pout. And I hope sure you will get your dream lips. Much Love!!!!

One said that once, you can stop the wind from blowing, you can prevent the river from flowing, but you can not control your mind or negative thoughts. The control of thoughts undoubtedly the most difficult (and also most rewarding) thing in the world, But it is believable by constant practice and adopting proper techniques.
Here I am describing a few techniques to help you control your mind powers.
Yogasanas and Exercise
When you do stretching exercise and perform Yogasans, then your different muscles, tensions deposited in them are released. And leading to a free flow of Prana which leads to quietness and control of the mind.
When muscles are tenses and contracted then Prana is not able to move freely, it has the corresponding effect on the balance of mind because mind and Prana are closing interrelated.
Similarly, an anaerobic exercise involving rapid movements, release pockets of tension deposited in the body here and there, which lead to better flow of Prana and better functioning of the mind.
Pranayama (Breathing exercises)
Mind and breath have a very close interrelationship. When the mind is disturbed, breath also becomes an irregular, unrhythmic, jerky, noisy, shallow and limited to the upper chest only. When the mind is calm, inspiration is the slow, deep, rhythmic and abdominal involving movement of the diaphragm
This relationship of mind and inspiration is also seen vice-versa, i.e. by changing our breathing to match it with a relaxed state of mind. We can calm our mind. By various pranayama exercises and Kumbhaka, Parnayam power tremendously increased that leads to great control and strength of mind.
Nadi Shodhan Pranayama
Nadi Shodhan Pranayama is especially useful for the balance of the brain and nervous system. I advised to the readers that they should learn properly various techniques of breathing.
Kriyas (Purificatory Techniques): These kriyas are also a part of Yoga and consist of Nati (Jal neti, sutra neti) Tratak, Kapalbhati, Vasti, Dhauti. These techniques specially designed to clean the impurities of the body. Once the impurities are removed from the body, Prana flows freely, and the mind becomes calm and quiet. Because of its interrelationship with Prana.
Sitting Postures: Various sitting or meditative postures are in Yoga. These postures are such that once you master them, you can set effortlessly in them for a long time. In these asanas, your spine becomes straight and correctly aligned. To name of few such postures, they are Padmasana, Siddhasana, Swastikasana, Vajrasana, Sukhasana, etc.
Once we sit in these postures unmoved for a specified period, we find that mind has become centred and controlled. Why? First, because in the motionless state of the body. And the mind becomes entirely because of its interrelationship with the body.
Secondly, the straight vertical spine encourages Prana to rise upwards against its normal tendency of going downwards during other activities. When Prana grows upward in the spine, mind not only becomes calm and quiet but achieves a higher level of consciousness and its strength control are greatly enhanced.
Right diet has a significant influence on the mind. In Yoga, three types of food that are Satvik,Rajasik and Tamasik. By eating these foods, Prana flows appropriately in the body and mind also remains quiet, positive, and under control.
Satvik foods are fruits, vegetables, milk, honey, lemon, yoghurt, dry fruits (nuts), whole grain cereals etc.
Rajasik foods are those which stimulate the mind and make it restless, e.g. tea, coffee, tobacco, cigarette, cola drinks, sugar, salt etc.
Tamasik foods are such which make the mind and lethargic, e.g. tea, stale foods, onion, alcohol, fatty foods etc. In addition to the type of food, it also matters when we eat, how much we eat, what combination of foods we eat and at what temperature we eat.

The mind is that faculty by virtue of which we are able to be conscious and aware of ourselves. Consciousness and awareness of self and others are the basic characteristics of mind which distinguish sentient or living things (having mind) from insentient or non-living things (not having mind).
A stone is not conscious of itself, as it has no mind. Same is the case with all physical objects. Since they have no consciousness, they can’t think, analyze, reason, feel good or bad, sense pleasure or pain. It is the mind which thinks, reasons, analyzes, discriminates, feels good or bad, senses pleasure and pain, imagines and worries etc.
An inanimate object doesn’t have all these faculties. It is the mind which sees, hears, smells etc. through respective sense organs and through the mechanism of the brain. It is also the mind which speaks, eats, and works through respective physical organs (Karmendriyas).
Is Mind Different from Brain?
The brain is a physical organ like any other organ of the body while the mind is a non-physical entity. Thinking, reasoning, feeling, imagining etc. are all attributes of mind only. The brain and the body, thus, are simply an instrument of the mind.
Is mind Eternal and Immortal?
The brain and the body, being physical in nature, are subject to decay and are perishable in nature, while mind or consciousness or soul never dies. With the passage of time, mind, instead of decaying, grows with the experience and maturity. There was never a time when it was not there and there will never be a time when it will not be there. No external violence, murder, fire, accidents or bombs can touch it.
Levels of mind
There are three levels of mind which together give the mind a single identity.
Conscious The conscious mind is that part of our mind which reasons thinks, discriminates, contemplates and analyzes. Emotions or feelings of all sorts, i.e. likes, dislikes, love, hatred, jealousy, anger, joys, sorrows etc., are all experienced in this mind. The imagination of all sorts of future happenings and worrying about the past are all done through this mind.
Subconscious The subconscious mind is another level of mind and is accessed when we go deep inside our inner journey. The subconscious mind is the storehouse of our memory. All that we have ever seen, heard, thought, talked, done whether in this life or earlier lives get stored here as a sort of permanent record.
Superconscious The superconscious mind is our real self devoid of any impurity and full of bliss and peace. If we can have a glimpse of it even for a moment we will be filled with indescribable peace. It is like drinking from the fountain of joy and peace.
